Here at the end of Captiva's beautiful, private and quiet Laika Lane (no public access), only a few neighbors will stroll up the sandy lane to the beach.
Whispering pines and majestic palms shade The Island Girl and the newly landscaped grounds.
Nature seems at ease with mankind as osprey play overhead, herons supervise fishing on the beach, and troops of spoonbills wander through the yard into the vast undeveloped tract behind the house.
